    Summary

The Queen of Swords: intellect, truth, independence. Sharp-witted, clear-thinking, objectively honest and logical. La Maomao, newly crowned princess of the royal court.

The King of Cups: compassion, balance, grace. Emotionally intact, experienced wisdom, harmonious and understanding. Ka Zuigetsu, the emperor’s only living son.

With unrest among the kingdom and the defecting Shi Clan, a marriage is arranged between the La Clan’s daughter Maomao and the crown prince, who is often referred to as Jinshi in the Inner Palace. Ripped away from her peaceful life in the countryside with her Great Uncle, Maomao quickly discovers the life of a royal is more than she bargained for: scandals, murder, and betrayal haunt the Inner Palace halls, and leaves her entangled in a series of incidents that threaten her very life.

    Summary

An exploration of the butterfly effect. What might have been if Lakan had been in the series a little earlier? In which Maomao gets family therapy, Joka gets everything she's ever wanted, Jinshi gets a hell of a lot more than he bargained for, and Lakan and the Emperor get grandchildren. Not necessarily in that order.

“Foggy, listen to me. This isn't going to make any sense at all, but just – just listen. I need you to come by my place and – walk with me over to Murdock's, because I... need him to tell me how to call in sick.”

For a prompt on the Daredevil kink meme:

Matt Murdock + Brett Mahoney, body swap.
