Bloodhound didn't say anything, their brow furrowed as they searched his face for something. They weren't even entire sure what they were looking for exactly. Pity? Judgement? Annoyance? What annoyed them the most was that they saw none of it. Tendrils of guilt clawed a their stomach, but that didn't stop the way it made their blood boil.
"Please," Walter's voice was soft, his face betraying his desperation, "let me help you."
