Eddie was awake. He was pretty sure that was a mistake. Blinding light greets him as soon as he forces his eyes open. Too bright. Too soon. He swallows a groan as the room slowly comes into focus. Sterilized walls, clean white sheets, machines beeping rhythmically, tubes entering his arm in various locations.
A hospital.
He is very aware of three things. One, he is alone. Two, he has no idea how he got here, and three, the sinking feeling that something was very wrong tugs at his thoughts.or, Eddie wakes up in a hospital having no clue how he got there.

Summary
Chief Arnook never assigns Sokka to protect Princess Yue, so he goes to fight the Fire Nation with the other men. When the moon dies and the ocean spirit takes its revenge, Sokka is caught standing on the deck of a Fire Nation ship.
