Summary
When Caitlyn Kiramman saved the life of a Zaunite girl, she never expected to see her again. Their lives had never meant to collide to begin with, and yet they had. As fragile peace between their two cities erupts into outright war, the memory of the girl she saved fades, distorted by time but never forgotten.
As the years drag by, and the war rages on, Caitlyn is tasked with the mission to apprehend and detain the notorious rebel soldier only known by the name of The Two-Headed Hound. But when the mission goes sideways, instead of finding Piltover’s most sought-after enemy, she finds Vi. Now torn between duty and love, she must find a way to protect not only her own people, but Vi’s as well.
Both women are forced to keep secrets from the other, unable to keep their growing attraction at bay. They now face the struggle of uniting two cities hellbent on destruction while staying true to themselves and those they hold most dear.

“Please, bring it on.” Caitlyn returned the smirk “You may have gotten a lucky start, but we’ll see if you can keep it up.”
Vi’s smile was one of amusement, mischief and something else lingering at the bottom of it all, something she couldn’t quite name.“Guess we’ll find out soon enough.” she replied, a competitive fire sparking underneath.
For a moment, the room felt smaller, as if the two of them were the only ones in it. Beneath the smug remarks, a crackling tension that neither seemed to be entirely aware of was starting. It added an extra layer to every word, every glance.
The moderator stepped in to guide the session to the next question, but the energy between the two remained electric. Everyone watching, whether in the room or on the live broadcast, could feel it. This wasn’t just some petty rivalry. It was something else entirely.
Or F1 prodigy Caitlyn Kiramman’s reign is threatened by a certain fiery redhead speeding her way into history (consequently falling for her).

Caitlyn stared back at her, ears burning, at the absolutely absurd request. No one, no one on this green earth, could make the infamous disaster that was Powder’s sister dateable. It was absolutely ridiculous to think anyone would want to date the girl who insisted her birth name was Violence no matter how anyone prettied her up. It was a doomed project and she should say as much.
“You got a deal,” she said instead.
