Summary
Based on a comprehensive timeline of TVD, TO, & Legacies, with some added changes along the way. Centered mostly around Caroline Forbes, a witch born in 11th century Canada, who finds her way toward immortality as a way to keep a promise she made to her younger sister. It follows a thousand-year timespan of her and her companion’s lives, randomly viewed under a magnifier. Includes lots of magic and several battles with various villains, but spread out over years, interspersed with good moments. Klaroline main pairing (slowww burn), as well as various other pairings. Does not include every character in all three series. Just the ones that felt right to add. Ps. very little doppelganger action, no gods, or the first immortals. M for violence & smut.
Editing occurred passed chapter 3, so if the style deterred you before then, it got better! I'll go back and edit the first three when the story is completed.

Summary
Mauve moves in her late Grandma's house, and everything is good. Nothing to hide, no missing family member, no crippling guilt, no magic suppressant, no impromptu crushes on two men, that's so not happening. The Ostrich Strategy still has bright days to come, and she definitely won't need any help to keep the past from resurfacing, and the stupid acrobatic number of her heart when she happens to get out of her house in check. Nothing to see here.
Or: a lost soul moves in a quaint little village, runs from her problems and herself thinking that all she needs is a fresh start. But she finds oh so way more than that, and ends up navigating the sinuous path of healing and self-discovery. Fortunately, she couldn't be more well-accompanied for that.
