Summary
Over six years, 42 Hegel Place had changed. Mulder’s bachelor pad had been rearranged, reflecting his mercurial moods. Since his brain had been lobbed into by their enemies, Scully was spending more time there than ever; influencing its arrangement. It is where they both retreated at the end of a long week.
Their Friday movie-routine, however, becomes disrupted when Mulder starts “accidentally” leaving his adult films in the VHS player for Scully to find.
Was he trying to shock her, inspire interest, or tell her about himself?

Summary
Mulder had kneeled in the dirt with a gun at the back of his head. How was he supposed to move on from that? And what was going to happen when he told Scully?
An hour of TV is never long enough to give us everything that a story has to offer, so this is a little post-ep continuation exploring the aftermath of an episode that I think gives us a great opportunity for character development, but leaves it all hanging in the air at the end.
It’s canon-compliant … in a world where Mulder and Scully might actually communicate. So much is left unsaid between these two so I’ve tried to give a window into what they’re thinking. I think it’s pretty true to character, I hope you do too.

Post-cancer arc. Remission changes everything and nothing. Scully and Mulder fall into a new routine: Sunday nights, case files, and conversations they're both too careful with. When someone asks for her number, Scully says yes. It's the right choice. Probably.
