Nightclub!AU: Castiel is the editor for upcoming author, Carver Edlund (also known as Chuck Shurley). When he needs to edit a scene involving strip clubs, he finds himself being dragged off to Lawrence's most exclusive nightclub--SPN--by his nosy brothers (even if they do work there, it's a little weird). He's sort of expecting the raucous mobs of people and the loud music, but he wasn't expecting the handsome, green-eyed guy behind the bar... or anything that came after.

Early on in their bounty hunting careers, things go wrong for Rett and Pyke and the Sparrow gets set adrift in an asteroid field. When a cosmic space monster decides to help out- well, at least Pyke isn't dying from aether exposure any more? Also, Rett is watching. Oops. Sure hope this doesn't awaken anything in the two of them. Like all the feelings they've been denying about each other.

Lethica’s hand falls to his knee.
He stiffens, body taut like a bowstring. It must only be an accident. Perhaps, he thinks, with the fluttering of his heart, that Lethica had not meant to; she must have simply missed her leg when she had lowered her hand from the table’s edge. Dashing the thought like a billhook to the skull of a child, Lethica’s hand shifts, dragging against the soft wool of his loose trousers until she finds the rounded edge of his knee and curls her fingers around it. Nothing more that her touch at his knee but — but she’s so warm.
Full of life, vivacious, with warm hot blood coursing through her veins and her skin and places he should never think of — and it bleeds into his trousers, into his skin, into the marrow and sinew and depth of his stolen soul. Though her touch is feather-light, it is far too hefty a weight to keep, full of each of his various sins.
