Summary
After the family settles in Florence together, Hannibal's plan having perfectly come together, he begins to discover that Abigail had other plans. Her father figures were nothing more than a means of escape for her, and she leaves.

Summary
First, Will Graham died. Next, he made a deal where he would be returned to life for one year, in which he needs to enter a relationship with his 'true love' if he doesn't want to die again (He neglects to mention that he doesn't believe in true love, and is just going to use his one year to catch the Ripper). Then, everything goes very differently than Will planned, and it turns out that the real devil was a lot closer to him all along than he'd ever have suspected.

Will Graham is a graduate student at the University of Maryland. He and his roommate Beverly are happily living the dream in the university's criminology program when they get unexpectedly evicted. Their classmate and sorta-friend Matthew Verger offers them a place to stay for free-- his eccentric yet charming godfather's home in Baltimore. Matt's crush on Will intensifies while Will becomes low-key enamored with Matthew's godfather.
