“Satisfied?” Oscar asked quietly, his voice carrying that low, grounded deadpan, though a dark spark of intent flickered in his eyes.
“I—yeah,” Lando managed, swallowing hard, his fingers twitching where he held his phone.
“You... it really is completely blonde in the sun.”Between equatorial heat, an obsession with Oscar’s sunlit hair, and a desperate need to burn away a disastrous race weekend, Lando Norris surrenders complete control to his teammate on an open terrace.

Summary
“We can’t just leave her here, now can we?” Says Lando, clearly realizing Oscar has picked up his train of thought.
“Lando, what the hell are we going to do with a dog?”
Lando's grin could light up an entire track when he says, “We’ll take her, yeah?” He’s looking at Oscar as if he’s already made up his mind, and expects him to do the same. “We’re always together, we have the same schedule so we can switch off responsibilities and the team won’t mind her at MTC or in the garage. We always fly private so it won’t be a problem taking her with us and we can definitely find someone to watch her when we’re busy and –”
Oscar already knows what his answer is going to be before he even hears the rest of Lando's plan. He’s always had a soft spot for dogs. His teammate, too.
Or: Oscar and Lando adopt a stray puppy, and Oscar tries to ignore his growing feelings.

Summary
Lando decides to spend his summer volunteering at a sea turtle conservation project, hoping for a quiet break from his usual life.
He definitely doesn’t expect to meet Oscar, a marine biologist who spends his days rescuing turtles, collecting data, and complaining about volunteers who get in the way.
Lando is hopelessly curious. Oscar is painfully patient.
Between early morning beach patrols, releasing baby turtles into the ocean, late-night conversations under the stars, and far too many shared cups of coffee, Lando slowly realizes that maybe the best thing he found this summer wasn’t a reason to love the ocean.
It was Oscar.
