Precocious presentations were the sort of things whispered about all over English society. Seventeen was the average age of presentation, Sixteen was a perfectly respectable and normal age to present. Fifteen was a little early and likely indicated a particularly strong example of the designation: either a very dominant Alpha able to lead others unquestioningly, or a very docile and neutering Omega able to calm even the most savage of souls. Anything earlier than 15, however, was termed ‘precocious’.
