Summary
Hong-Jin Kim, a local reporter who is drowning in debt is offered to go undercover into a Cult. He is tasked with recording and studying the inner workings of the strange place as he blends in to become one of them in exchange for a hefty reward. His only tools being his wits and his uncanny ability to always know when someone is telling the truth.
Deep in the center of the cult, is a man nicknamed the King, or König, who allegedly woo’s people with the promise of community, security, healing unlike any sort of medicine and the gift of telling the future and reading minds. Who is this man and is he to be trusted? What is he doing that he can lure people away by the hundreds? Why is it that nobody ever returns?
There is only one way to find out.
