Summary
Caitlyn Kiramman is the heir to one of the largest cattle operations in the country, but she has not stepped foot on her family's ranch in nearly two decades. She helps run the company from afar, and is deeply unpopular with the staff due to her controversial ideas that disrupt the status quo. Violet Mason is the head ranch hand at Rocking Bar Ranch, where she has spent years breaking horses, working cattle, and bending to the Kiramman's every decision - no matter how stupid she thinks they are.
After a disastrous stakeholder meeting, Caitlyn is effectively fired from her position and her mother assigns her to work on the farm to maintain the company's image. Vi is charged with overseeing Caitlyn, and tasked with turning her into a regular cowpoke. Unfortunately, tension builds as the pair's disdain for one another becomes more apparent.Something besides their animosity is brewing on the ranch, though. And if they aren't able to put aside their differences to work together and figure out what it is, Rocking Bar Ranch could cease to exist as they know it.
OR: Vi is a cowboy and Caitlyn is a clueless city slicker.

Summary
“Houston, do you copy?”
Caitlyn panicked, feeling extraordinarily unprepared having been thrust into her new position without so much as even a handbook to consult. What were the formalities? What was she supposed to respond with? Where was the damn push to talk button…
“Hellooo? I said Houston, do you copy?”
Caitlyn fiddled with her headset, having finally found the green button on the side and hastily letting out a rather breathless reply. “Um, yes. Hello? This is Houston. I copy.”
There was a long pause in which Caitlyn sat twiddling her thumbs, anxiety pushing the frantic pulse of her heartbeat through her eardrums. Was that wrong? Did she already fuck up? She took a steady deep breath, finger hovering over the talk button until the familiar voice of the astronaut came through her headset once more.
“Damn, Houston. I didn’t expect you to sound so sexy.”
OR
Caitlyn has been assigned as the personal capcom to one of the astronauts currently on a year long expedition at the international space station. Cue long months of pining and desperate longing.
