“Yeah, I could kiss you and also let you know if you do kiss weird, but don’t sweat it if I’m not your type, I could totally find someone to smooch you behind these curtains, easy! Then you can go to the spin the bottle game, kissing like a pro!”

Summary
Growing up poor meant Ochako couldn’t really watch the latest movies, or the shows on streaming platforms - heck, they couldn’t even afford to get every single cable channel. However, there was one channel they did have, that aired what would become Ochako’s favorite show throughout her childhood, well into her teenage years, and even now as a young adult. Samichi Street was an educational show for children, using adorable puppets to teach kids about life lessons, help with their counting, learn how to spell, and many other subjects. Ochako remembers the mornings and afternoons she’d spent in front of the television, singing and clapping along to all the little tunes that the puppets would play. Squealing in laughter when the characters got into high-jinks, and crying when the heavier topics were touched upon with the more misunderstood puppets.
Suffice to say, when Ochako got an email one morning from the Jin & Jin Company asking if she wanted to star in an episode of Samichi Street, she was over the moon and readily agreed.
