A/U-Judy's dreams of being a cop are shattered when there's no Mammal Inclusion Initiative so she can't join the ZPD. She's forced to help run one of the family's gas stations in Zootopia, anything to get out of Bunnyburrow. There's NO chance for excitement or love in a gas station…unless a certain fox can entice her away. I own no rights to Zootopia or any songs mentioned in the story.

Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps had been married for almost a year when Judy suddenly disappeared without a trace on her way home from a late shift at the ZPD. This is the story of Nick’s desperate last-ditch attempt to find his loving wife after nearly seven years of totally fruitless efforts to find her, and the lingering effects on her and their family. Summary
This is another Wildehopps fanfiction (these are the only kind I have), but it's not to be confused with my main story, Zootopia: At the Beginning. This has a completely different storyline and is a 'What if...' story that takes place between the time Judy hands in her badge and returns to Bunnyburrow and the time Nick and Judy track Weaselton down about the Nighthowlers he stole. So 'what if' Judy didn't get her clue from Gideon like she did in the movie and so never went back to Zootopia looking for Nick in order to close the case? And 'what if' Nick went in search of Judy instead? A fox trying to find a bunny in a sea of other bunnies. How will he find her? And will the town or her family even let him? This is a story of possibilities and how a city fox and a country bunny find friendship and forgiveness on their path to a different beginning.
PS. This story is shorter than my main story, but it will also have a sequel. I hope you enjoy it.

This story explores Nick and Judy's evolving relationship after the crazy adventure they somehow survived. There's a lot of fluff, drama, and eventual action as our favorite duo discover how much better life is when you no longer have to face it alone. The story takes place between Bellwether's arrest and Nick's ZPA graduation, along with the adventures Nick and Judy have in the meantime.
