“Grace wasn’t stupid, at least, he liked to think he wasn’t, not in terms of education - he’d always succeeded in academia, could rattle off facts and figures that would’ve made him an asset at trivia nights if he’d ever had enough friends to be invited to them. But what he’d placed in intelligence didn’t always equate to wisdom and social awareness was never a personal strong suit. At the end of the day, Ryland Grace was a scientist and, thus, his self-preservation instincts were non-existent. The proverbial minefield was laid out before him and, much as he had done when staring down that dark tunnel of nothingness between the Mary and the Blip-A, he threw himself into it in pursuit of knowledge with little regard for himself.”Still trying to save their respective planets, Grace and Rocky gain a new problem they need to solve: the body of an impossible human appearing in the Hail Mary's airlock.
Simon doesn't want to die. He might just get what he asked for, but everything comes with a price.
