Summary
Peter has been mistaken for homeless a surprising number of times now. He needs to stop falling asleep in alleyways after patrol. Most people ignore him, but one man, Frank, tries help him out.
It's sweet, and something Peter remembers fondly. He hadn't been looked after like that in a long time. Frank's kindness was exactly the thing he needed.
Which is why it's so shocking to run into Frank on patrol, and realise the kind stranger is also a violent vigilante.
When Frank mistakes Peter for being homeless, he does his best to help him out. The kids about the same age as Frank's youngest would be. He couldn't just ignore the freezing kid, sleeping in an alley.
He doesn't really think about it again, other than to occasionally wonder if Peter's doing better, if he's safe and warm.
Little does he know, the asshole in a red and blue suit who keeps ruining his missions is the very same person as that poor beat up kid Frank found curled up in an alleyway

Set during Brand New Day, SPOILERS (maybe)
Peter, broke enough to be rationing a roll of laundry quarters as potential food money, is up on a parking garage at night hoping for a usable Spider-Man shot for the Bugle. Nothing's happening, so he ends up photographing the sunset instead, just for himself. He doesn't realize Daredevil is crouched on a nearby ledge until the shutter clicks.

"I'm down," Peter said, his voice hoarse. "Okay?"
The Punisher stared, his jaw clenched.

Peter had a sense that he was prey, and this was a rattled hunter. He wasn't going to move an inch.
