Various results of playing frantic fanfic with my friends.
Frantic fanfic is a game where you and your friends can write unhinged fics. each player starts a fic with two character prompts given by the players at the begining of the game and had to write the begining of the fic. Then the starts swap between players to write the middle and end of it. And at the end the person who wrote the beginging pert has to read the finished fic.

Alexis Knew that Gertrude Robinson was dead the second her heart stopped.
The Knowing was smashed into her head so violently she stumbled as she walked down the cracked sidewalk back to her apartment. The headache that was already forming would be a thousand times worse by the time she gets to bed, she’ll have to take an advil when she gets home.
Gertrude's death wasn't an unsurprising or sad development but it would mean that Elias would have to choose a new Head Archivist with far less experience and who is far more gullible which he would surely use to further his own goals, whatever they may be.
Work’s gonna be a bitch after this.

“I’m David. Hollander. Shane’s dad.”
Ilya genuinely couldn’t figure out what the fuck to do. He needed to send out an SOS, but he had set his phone down somewhere and had no idea if it was in the sunroom, bedroom, or bathroom, and wasn’t about to go dash around to hunt it down. And as hard as he wracked his brain, he couldn’t come up with a single plausible explanation for his presence in Shane’s summer home other than, “I’m in love with your son. We have been fucking since we were teenagers. We have a ten year plan.”
Instead, what he choked out was, “Sorry. No English.”

The Boxing Day argument doesn't happen, Ilya doesn't seek professional help, and he and Shane keep pretending everything's fine. In the last few weeks of the season, Ilya reaches a breaking point. After saving his boyfriend's life, Shane is forced to grapple with the broken pieces, figure out what went wrong, and try to slot everything back together again.
