Maybe then, he thinks as he looks up to watch Lan Wangji pour him another cup of water, this is what knowing feels like.

“Tell me what you’re thinking,” Lan Wangji asks suddenly and Wei Wuxian realizes he's been staring at him silently. Should have known that his quiet would be noticed.

“You love me.” Wei Wuxian responds simply.

    Summary

The man standing at Lan Xichen’s side has Lan Wangji’s wintry gaze, but he’s far broader at the shoulders than Wei Wuxian remembers. Lan Wangji was always a pretty kid, but to look at him now, the depth of his beauty is nearly arresting. It would be too much for anyone to look at, but something about that frozen, distant expression on his face makes the beauty so sharp it cuts, turning it into something enticing, something Wei Wuxian wants to touch even if it hurts.

… This is that same boy that yelled at him and bit him all those years ago?!

A great calamity fell upon Qishan Wen. It's said that some of the Wens still live, surviving on turnips and raw hope, but Jiang Cheng has not thought of Qishan Wen in years. He has enough on his mind with securing a lecture for Yunmeng Jiang, and somehow, dealing with Wei Wuxian's nauseating affection for Lan Wangji.
