Tommy wasn’t sure what he had been anticipating when he broke into Techno’s house. Maybe he was expecting his brother to kill him on sight, lodging a crossbow arrow straight between his eyes. Maybe he was expecting to be dragged back to exile, cursing and screaming the whole way. Mostly, he was just hoping that Techno wouldn't be home. Tommy had a half-baked plan to hide out in the piglin’s basement, squirreling away gapples and supplies until he could figure out something better.
He hadn’t even considered that Techno could be hibernating.
Or: Tommy has just escaped exile. What better place to hide than the house of his hibernating older brother?

The Blade’s eyes were closed, his snout squished into the mattress. Tommy lifted one of his ears and dropped it so it’d flop down, jumping back in case he stirred, but Technoblade only snuffled and shifted slightly, turning his face a little. A soft snore started up, rumbling deep like the inside of a volcano.
“What the fuck,” Tommy breathed. He took a stick out of his inventory and prodded Techno’s side. The piglin snorted. He poked him again– no response, holy shit– and backed up, scouring the room with a more analytical eye. Dust on the bedposts and the floor. Snuffed candles, closed books, darkened lanterns. Signs pointed to one conclusion only.
“Are you hibernating?”

He thought getting banned would get rid of those guys, but instead it seemed to just have lead him to more. ”
Or: After stepping into the chunk ban during s01e005, Wifies gets turned into a Watcher. Many consequences follow.
Or or: The author looked at Wifies, went “is anyone going to turn that into a Watcher?” and did not wait for an answer
