"What kind of man does he sound like to you, Peter?" Tony cannot help but ask. As Tony cannot help but understand Frank Castle, not to the core, or in depth. But Tony killed too, would kill for those he loved. Especially if they were taken away. Especially looking at Peter, now.
Peter worries his bottom lip, glancing from Frank Castle's bruised face to Tony's expecting one.
"He sounds like a misguided one. One that doesn't know how to carry the hurt."
A perfect Peter Parker response.
Tony sighs.
"It would do you good to never, ever step foot near Frank Castle."
"How would I? He's going to jail. He'll never see the light of day if everything they've said about him is true."
Tony snorts. "No jail can hold The Punisher except death, Underoos."

“I think I'm having a better time here talking with you than I have all night.” Peter blurts out.
He freezes, he doesn't know why he said that. It's true but, letting the conversation happen is one thing. Encouraging it is another.
“You like spending the time you could be using to have a great time at a frat party, talking to some old guy?” Frank asks, a teasing tilt to his voice.
Peter is silent for a moment, contemplating. This is reaching levels beyond inappropriate. And David, Frankie, would kill him if he ever found out he was talking to his dad like this. But Peter wants this, he wants Frank.
OR
Where Frank is the dad of one of Peter's fraternity brothers and Peter runs into him while wandering around his house at a party, wanting to get away from the noise.

Summary
Peter Parker has found his peace with the way his life is now; nobody remembers him, and that's for the better. Peter doesn't really exist, only Spider-Man does. But then the line between these two parts of himself gets blurred by one specific, grumpy old man, and he has to ask himself whether this is really what he wants for the rest of his life.
Frank Castle gets to have the special honor of being Peter Parker's love interest but not knowing who he's actually dealing with, and after some time, this makes Frank start to question his sanity.
Amidst all these confusing developments, a new threat rises in New York, and some people might have to consider whether loving somebody is worth the risk of endangering them time and time again.
