They're very much in love, and Zoro's so happy for her and supports her through her transition. But eventually he stops being attracted to her since he's gay, and it leads to their reluctant and painful break up.
This is a one shot of them sleeping together in the later stages of their relationship. It's already not quite working, but they're not ready to let go just yet.
