    Dear Jax,

    Why do I begin all these letters with "dear Jax?" You weren't dear to me at all! You were an insufferable, insensitive, unlikeable, violent jackass who had absolutely no interest in changing. But I guess part of me assumed you'd give it up some day and get better. I don't know why, but the idea of you not getting a happy ending never felt real until you were already gone.

    Or, Jax's abstraction hits Zooble a lot harder than they were expecting. They don't know how to explain this, not even to themself. At Kinger's suggestion, they attempt to anyway--through letters. They think it's stupid and pointless, but something makes them keep writing anyway.

    Incredible Fic about shared queer grief with a wonderful portrayal of Zooble. Feels so cannon I can't believe it isn't. Perfect rumination on grieving for a complicated messy person you barely knew.

    An incredible exploration of Jax's gender and transition through BDSM sex with Zooble. Absolutely fantastic.
    As a demisexual I tend not to enjoy reading porn or smut. But, I will always give a try to anything tagged with "porn with plot" featuring characters and aspects I like because of past stories I have had wonderful experiences reading. Despite entering the world of "porn with plot" with morbid curiosity and discomfort, wondering how that would work, I'm so glad I've opened up to it because it gave me the chance to let myself read this wonderful fic with comfort and openness.
    The character voices are so accurate and in character somehow despite the story being about Jax letting Zooble forcefem him and learning some initially unwelcome things from that. Even those who barely appear are so accurate like Caine, Bubble and Ragetha.
    I have a friend or two in the BDSM space and so I was aware of how it can be a safe space to explore yourself in new ways you couldn't anywhere else. I knew that. But this fic is so accurate, respectful and well written that it has helped me to understand and feel the concept so much better. I feel educated and more understanding of a whole community of wonderful people who had felt like aliens to me before.
    I am overwhelmed with understanding and joy. High praise on this, if you are apprehensive just trust me. Take the plunge this fic is so good. Incredible Transfem Jax Fic.

    Cool fic about an older transitioned Jax entering the circus again and everyone except Gangle being pretty fucked about it cos it's so much to deal with. Everyone is a little out of character at first but seem to be a bit more like themselves near the end. I think it's cool to have Gangle be the only one who isn't being weird and rude because she would have done the most complete grieving process because she's healthy like that and she had the most unpleasant relationship with Jax and would have moved past it all the most completely. Allowing her to have much less baggage with the new Jax.

    Beautiful story about an older transitioned Jax putting on the headset again. She gets to Crack her own egg. And be a bit of a bitch to him but he's an ass back so it's even. Love that this fuckery means that both versions of Jax figure out the brain scan thing early and have different views on nothing mattering. And that they kinda gotta protect everyone else from this information. The ending is wonderful too. Also the adventure with Able getting completely ignored because of trans drama is iconic.

    OR: Kinger confesses his love for his adopted daughters (and Zoobles), Jax overhears and tries very hard not to think about what that may mean, only to realize that hey, maybe that fourth daughter is JAX.
    ...But that wouldn't work, because Jax is a guy, right?
