So when two little half-blood began tearing their way through his realm with more brutality and efficiency than most of his immortal children, he took notice. Such wonderful little abominations these children were, such fun little toys.
Or an AU where Percy and Annabeths trip through tartarus is much worse, and the primordial himself is not so passive. With all of the deliciously fucked up things I wish could have been in a YA novel. Allegiance shifts, sanity crumbles, and at the end of it all they have to ask themselves, was it worth it?
