Summary
Allex Snow is a fourteen-year-old bastard from the North, raised to believe his father was nothing more than a traveling merchant from Lys.
Everything changes when Allex forms a bond with a wild dragon—a beast that has grown far beyond what anyone thought possible, becoming something that seems pulled from the oldest legends of Westeros.
As the dragon grows stronger, Allex journeys south in search of answers, believing the Citadel and King’s Landing may hold the secrets to his strange bond and mysterious blood.
Instead, he finds himself accused of treason by Otto Hightower for supposedly stealing a dragon.
King Viserys, however, sees something Otto does not.
Those eyes.
And when Prince Daemon Targaryen finally comes face-to-face with the boy, a buried truth begins to emerge—one that neither of them is prepared to accept.
Is Allex truly the bastard of a Lysene merchant?
Or has the blood of the dragon been running through his veins all along?

When Guy is told to dig, no one comes to his rescue. He is drained, turned, and buried as the first moments of his unlife unfold.
When he next wakes, he is greeted by a voice he has never heard before.
-Fledgling. Focus on my words, quiet your mind to me and me alone.-
[AKA Armand finds a newly turned Guy and instead of burning the dangerously powerful fledgling that he sees as inevitably falling to insensate madness, he takes him under his wing. Jasper, however, isn’t about to let the only fledgling he has that matters to him go.]

Summary
"It was fitting this way Jasper thought; consuming an angel — the personification of everything pure and good — was not among the worst sins he had committed to selfishly keep himself alive on his path towards vengeance. Mortal or immortal."
Jasper and Guy meet again under even worse circumstances in Amsterdam.
