“Hello Aesop, what do I have the plea-”
“Do not try to appease me at this hour,” Aesop hissed, striding into the room without a second thought as he quickly scanned over the maps and books covering the desk. “Where is your student?”
“Unfortunately, I cannot tell you.” Fig sternly replied as Aesop’s lips twitched, face eerily still and devoid of any emotion. “So pray tell,” He slowly stated, “As a professor, how should one react when a student doesn’t show up to detention?”
The former auror's gaze was ice cold; the warmth from the fire dissipated immediately as he spoke: “Tell me, Eleazar, did you send your student to the second trial alone?”
OR: The keepers ordered you to partake in the trials, but a large, black-feathered mass clearly didn't abide by the rules of magic, nor seem to care as you unwillingly fell through the gateway, pushed by the new friend perched on your shoulder.
Honestly, did a grumpy corvid really count as aid? Even if it did resemble a familiar stern professor...

Summary
