Greg is a loving and concerned father. After Steven... left, he decided that kids just like his son were out there, and in need of support, protection, and the closest thing to normalcy they could get. So, he founded a school just for them.
For misfits, strays, and heroes. Kids who were unique. Who were forced to grow up too fast. Who saw things that teenagers shouldn't have to see much less live through. After all, a lot of kids kept it all close to home, not ideal for therapy, finding others like them, and generally exploring outside their jurisdiction. Greg wanted to give them that. A special place they could call home. It started as all stories do: normally. So normal that Aether and Paimon go to Natlan for the day and help Kachina get some experience. Normal like Kachina suggesting they ask her big brother figure to help. That's where the story starts: where the normal ends. It was abnormal for Kinich to have gone missing… or well, for this period of time.
While searching a fruitless search for the name barer, he receives a frantic special request in helping to track down the general mahamatra. Then Heizou also fails to make a promised appearance.
Aether's friends are disappearing faster than he can get his bearings, and none of his investigations lead to any results. What's more, not one person can think of any connection or common thread any of these victims have.
Aether fears he will lose more friends before he can find the others.
This is not my finest work of art. I'd even go as far as saying it's kind of crap. But damnit if I can't commit to a single multichapter fic that what hope do I have for my MHA fic which has been in the story board phase for over 2 years now?
No, I DID NOT forget this fic existed then to comp wrote the remainder of the fic to post all at once. Of course not.

jisung has been fine for several years now. stray kids are doing well, handling their work and enjoying the breaks in between missions. their most recent mission is just like any other, until it isn't, and jisung seems to be in the middle of it all.
