There are so many things that scare me about taking the plunge to fully fall for Brick. He's been nothing but a gentleman: kind, caring, and supportive but I can't shake the feeling that the other shoe will drop. Maybe he's secretly in cahoots with an undercover tabloid set to expose me, or part of this new prank show- that sounds ridiculous even to the most paranoid part of me. The truth is that Brick is a reminder of Total Drama, not just a casual viewer but a former contestant of the show that has brought so much trauma and humiliation to my life that I was forced to change my surname.
If he finds out who I am will his opinion of me change? I've tried so hard to move past Total Drama and I hate how I was on that show. The messy, petty, competitive, heartbroken, angry, controlling, and naive girl whose first boyfriend cheated on her in front of millions. If I let myself fully give my heart to Brick, I don't think I could recover if he gave it back.
