Tony sent him another glance, rubbing his cheeks harder. He was still forgetting something. "So, uhm," Peter scratched his neck nervously, "how did you know my name? That's kind of a secret, you know? The whole point of the mask?"
He cursed, low and under his breathe, and looked around for a shirt - he'd gone back too far.
OR: Tony had lost everything in the Blip, and he wasn't going to sit around and let that be it. How was he supposed to know his time machine would take him to a universe so vastly different?

Summary
Five years passed for Tony and Pepper. For Peter, it was barely a moment.
Now he’s back, and every time he visits the Tower, things are… different.
Tony hugs him more. Pepper touches his hair when she passes him on the sofa, keeps his favourite food in the kitchen and looks at him sometimes like she’s checking he’s really there. They’re softer with him in a way Peter doesn’t quite understand.
Then he starts noticing other things. And slowly, Peter begins to piece things together and realises that while in those five years, Tony and Pepper lost a child.
