Cliche AU because the world will never have enough of these. Rin Matusoka is 19 and works at the Sharkbait Cafe with his best friend (and the rest of the Samezuka crew). His normal day gets a little brighter when a guy with deep blue eyes comes to the cafe, and Rin is immediately drawn to the sweater-wearing boy. He makes it his mission to find out the guy's name, and maybe even be friends with the cute stranger. Summary
Jean Kirschtein is not entirely sure why they need someone to clean the pool when no-one ever seems to swim in the darn thing, but when his socialite mother just can't stop ogling the new pool boy, Jean realises she might not be the only one.
Apparently balancing a growing relationship with the freckled pool boy is harder than it looks, when coupled with a more than dysfunctional family life, a cheating scumbag for a father, and a seriously lonely existence.
An AU of equal measures fluff and angst featuring pool cleaning, roof-top smoking, lots of parental problems, and mainly shirtless Marco.

Summary
Eren is living a hell of a life... He is a nineteen year old virgin, living alone with his adoptive sister since his father is never home and his mom has passed away. Though his grades are extraordinary, he is still close to dropping out of school because of his increasing absence - hence, Principal Erwin Smith gives him one more chance: Eren Jaeger has to take extra classes in Marine Biology in order to graduate next year.
Eren accepts the conditions.
However, when Eren has to clean the school's outdoor swimming pool after a severe flooding, he didn't count on a pair of dark eyes, belonging to a creature with scaly skin, dark hair and a ripped chest, staring directly back at him.
Eren definitely didn't count on finding a merman in the swimming pool... -

Summary
Jean Kirschtein is a popular, athletic, and openly bi-sexual highschool punk who's used to getting what he wants with little to no effort.
Marco Bodt is a generally soft-spoken teen whose pastel style tends to paint him as an image of innocence.
So when a friend bets Jean that he couldn't get a boyfriend and KEEP that boyfriend till the end of the semester, Jean is confident that he can have Marco wrapped around his finger in no time at all. What he didn't expect, however, was to find out that Pretty in Pastel Marco isn't nearly as innocent, nor as ignorant, as Jean had assumed. Marco's got a plan of his own, and if Jean wants to keep him, Jean's going to have to work for it (and suffer hundreds of cold showers in the meantime). Damn that sweet freckled tease!
