Summary
Martha Jones moves to Broadchurch looking for a fresh start, a quiet life, and, ideally, a few months in which nobody needs her to save the world.
Instead, she gets Alec Hardy as a neighbour.
He’s grumpy, private, chronically tired, and apparently incapable of letting the new woman next door go without tea when she’s spent the day moving house. Martha is warm, nosy, far too observant, and quickly becomes a fixture in the Hardy household.
They become friends.
Then very close friends.
They have dinners together, watch television on each other’s sofas, exchange increasingly ridiculous text messages, and develop an elaborate reciprocal tea economy. Alec picks Martha up from work when it rains. Martha brings him coffee. Daisy starts treating Martha like she’s always been part of the family.
Everyone assumes they’re together.
They insist they’re not.
They’re just friends.

Summary
It's time for Alec Hardy and Mark Davies (OC) to experience their first intergalactic trip in the Tardis, with the Doctor, Jack, Aziraphale, Crowley, and Zee (OC) taking them on a short break to a human colony on the planet Yoria in the year 4796, where they can enjoy a first taste of alien life and landscapes.
The relationship between the two men is at a delicate stage following Mark's admission at Zee's birthday dinner, with Alec contemplating new and confusing feelings, while Mark tries not to let himself hope too hard. As they slowly gravitate towards each other, their friends are also keeping them busy; Zee continuing to encourage Alec out of his shell and expand his sexual horizons, while Mark becomes a new battleground in Jack and Crowley's ongoing battle for dominance (with the Doctor a willing participant, along for the ride).
Sweet, fluffy, fun-filled days alternate with hot, educational, pleasure-filled nights, as it becomes clear that there's only one way to release the simmering tension between detective and paramedic. How long can Mark's self-control last? And will Alec be brave enough to follow the united directions of heart, body, and mind?

Summary
Detective Inspector Peter Carlisle is called to Blackpool to investigate a suspicious death, when a young man's body is discovered in the bins behind Ripley Holden's new arcade. Ripley reeks of guilt, but Carlisle must prove he dealt the fatal blow, and the arcade owner won't give up easily. From witty repartee, their relationship develops a darker side, with Ripley seeking to establish control over the smart-mouthed detective; lines are crossed and emotions run high as things become intense between them.
Meanwhile, the Tardis delivers the Doctor, Jack, Aziraphale, Crowley, and Zee to Blackpool, 2004, in response to Zee's childhood nostalgia. Meeting another doppelganger barely feels like a surprise, and they set out to get to know this new lookalike, who displays a remarkable level of skill in ice-cream licking.
As Ripley's life begins to fall apart, Carlisle finds himself caught between his duty as a police officer, his magnetic attraction to the dominating arcade owner, and the exciting freedom he sees in the polyamorous lives of his new friends.
And for some reason, everyone keeps bursting into song...
