Nearly every single Monday, a new wave of gossip about Styles appeared in Louis’ office, like a dysfunctional and very thirsty clockwork. Because nearly every single Monday, a new omega freshly out of their heat had to tell how fantastic their weekend with the alpha was.
And all thanks to Louis' office mating cycle system, which consisted of a database of employees who needed partners for their heat/ruts. It was a practical and very useful system; employees checked the people in it and had to pick three of them from the list of candidates to spend their cycles with—just in case one of the three was unavailable for those days, they still had at least two options secured. His first year working there, Louis made the huge mistake of putting Styles as one of his options. Styles, of course, never made himself available for him, not even once.
Or Louis and Harry are co-workers and Louis is sure Harry hates him because he always refuses to help him with his heats.

Summary
Louis’ job should be simple. Harry Styles, one of the top ranking tennis players in the world, is every publicist's perfect client. He’s charismatic, enigmatic, and fit as fuck. The darling of the media, a national treasure, and a sponsor's wet dream. He’s also a goofball with the kindest heart, sweet, and polite, and singularly focused on achieving his goals.
There are just two minor problems. Firstly, Louis' debilitating crush on said client. And secondly, Harry has just accidentally Instagrammed a picture of his dick to his 18 million followers. So no, Louis’ job is anything but simple.

“I’m… Blind,” the man chuckled, awkwardly.

“Hey, wait, wait,” the man soothed, grabbing at Louis’ shoulders before he could get away.

“Oh yeah? Can I hear your poem?” Louis turns on the car and exits the school building.
“Wait.” Louis takes a glance and sees his daughter struggle to open her bag, strained thanks to the safety belt. “Aha!” She shouts when she finally finds the wrinkled paper. She clears her throat dramatically. “My mama is cool, because one day he took me to the pool. My mama is beautiful, and I feel grateful. My mama is pocketful, because his pocket is always full.”
Louis ruffles Chrys’ hair making the green-eyed kid groan and swat his hand away.
“You think I’m beautiful?” Louis’ voice is soft.
“Well, duh. You’re the most beautiful person on Earth, mama.” She pauses for a moment. “Although, Uncle Zayn is beautiful too. But, still, you’re the most beautifulest.” She grins.
Louis’ heart clenches at that. Not because she just said he’s the most beautiful person in the world. But, because of the way she said it. Awfully similar to the other person who has the same green eyes as her. And the way she grins after that, identical.

Louis let out a harsh, bitter laugh, blowing smoke into the space between them. "Why would I want to see you, Harry? We broke up. I told you five years ago that I did not want us to cross paths again. I have a girlfriend, and I love her."
"I do not care about that, Lou," Harry said softly, his voice cracking slightly as he took another step closer, entirely ignoring the boundary. "I just want to see you. I just want to talk to you."
Louis looked him up and down, his blue eyes scanning the sheer shirt, the exposed chest, and the necklaces resting against his skin. A dark, possessive anger flared up in his chest, competing with the ache in his trousers.
"You know exactly what you are doing, Harry," Louis spat, gesturing vaguely to Harry’s clothes. "Do not give me shits."

Louis’ voice was calm, in a way that was more dangerous than shouting. “You don’t get to throw that word, done, at me like it means nothing. Not here, not with me.” He stepped forward, forcing Harry to take another step back. “You’re angry? Fine. You’re jealous? Good. But don’t you dare stand here and pretend you want to walk away from what’s ours.”

Life was never the same after the incident in New York, and Harry had been living with a broken heart ever since. Patched together with a few Band-Aids that threatened to rip at any time. Would he ever get to know the truth about Louis? And even more so, would he ever get to know the real Louis?They’d already broken each other once, and unfortunately for the two of them, the future didn’t seem to be much brighter. Louis knew he had to change, and if he ever got another chance, he was determined to do so. Mostly, at least.

But snow has a habit of making everything quieter.
