Summary
Portgas D. Ace survived Marineford, but not without scars. Both mental and physical. He continues sailing the seas, his older brothers keeping a close watch on him and his little brother still thinking he hung the moon. Until he meets a small boy, too similar to himself as a child, and the boy's mother, a beautiful firecracker he can't help but be drawn towards. When fate (and prejudice) puts them on the same boat together, sparks fly. But can Ace accept the love he doesn't think he deserves? Can he protect these two when he still feels unable to protect himself?
