Summary
As she gets closer, Tim is immediately drawn to her wide brown eyes; they are broadcasting her emotional state for everyone to see — some combination of eager and excited and nervous. The polar opposite of the cool and guarded expression he is careful to keep on his own face.
Angela turns to look at him, clearly trying to gauge his reaction before she whacks him with her bouquet and hisses, “That is your soon-to-be wife, Tim, not your new boot, so maybe chill out with the death glare. You shouldn’t be trying to intimidate her.”
Tim ignores her; he begs to differ. This woman is supposed to be his wife. Chosen by supposed experts to be his life partner, his perfect other half. He is sure as hell going to be assessing whether she measures up to his standards. The fact that he already knows all of this is bullshit honestly just makes him that much more inclined to prove it.
When she reaches the end of the aisle, she stops in front of him and tilts her head to smile up at him in this sweet, hopeful way that he simultaneously finds incredibly endearing and incredibly irritating — like he holds her fate in his hands, and she is counting on him not to f*ck it up.

Summary
They say the best chemistry can't be faked.
Eric Winter and Melissa O'Neil have spent years proving it, Tim and Lucy's slow-burn romance spilling over into interviews, behind-the-scenes laughs, and that effortless way they lean into each other on red carpets. Fans eat it up and the internet calls it "Chenford magic."
But magic has a shadow.
What happens when the kisses stop being just for the script? When one of them pulls away to protect the other? When a convention in a cold German city forces them face-to-face with everything they've been avoiding?
A hallway that's too quiet.
A panel where tears fall and a hand reaches out.
A word that changes the air between them forever.Bookmarked by J2_Ever

Summary
They were friends. Solid, steady, no-lines-crossed kind of friends.
Long days on set, inside jokes, casual touches that never meant anything... until they did. Eric had always kept it light, convinced himself that what he felt wasn’t real, that Melissa deserved better than messy timing or unspoken feelings.
Then came that kiss. Not his. Not with him.
He hadn’t meant to care. But he did.
More than he should.
Suddenly, the space between them didn’t feel so safe anymore. It felt charged. Loud. Unavoidable.
And maybe it wasn’t the kiss that changed everything, maybe it was the way it made him realize he was done pretending. Done being the friend who waited on the sidelines.
So he knocked on her trailer door.
And this time, he wasn’t walking away without telling her the truth.
Because what they had? It was never just friendship.
Not really.

Summary
They were friends.
Just friends.
That’s what they told themselves, what he told himself when her laugh hit just right, when her hand brushed his arm, when her smile made his heart stutter.
To everyone else, it looked easy, a natural closeness built over time, the kind of bond that doesn’t need to be questioned.
But for Eric, it was anything but simple.
And for Melissa, it was getting harder to pretend the butterflies didn’t mean something more.
Then came the drinks, the warmth, the way she leaned into him like she belonged there. The protectiveness in his voice when someone else got too close. The way her fingers clutched his shirt like she was holding onto something she didn’t want to lose.
A kiss that wasn’t supposed to happen.
A moment neither of them meant to cross, but couldn’t walk away from.
