Summary
Harry Potter has survived Voldemort, the Forbidden Forest, and seven years of Hermione Granger's study schedules. He did not anticipate that a routine Dark artefact retrieval and one catastrophically misread French idiom would prove his undoing. Ron Weasley, armed with one of Draco's books and absolutely no working knowledge of Romance languages, delivers the worst medical advice in the history of wizarding Britain and then leaves for the weekend. Hermione comes to take care of Harry. Harry attempts to not die. He does a terrible job of it. Hermione has no idea why.
A comedy of errors, a fidelity urn, and le petit mort — which, it turns out, means something rather different than Ron thought.

A fluffy little one shot dedicated to Mr_YK_Potter whose Harmony Out of the Ordinary fest has produced such terrific creativity from this little ship. This one came about as I was contemplating one of my all-time favorite Fuck-or-Die fics and I thought about how fun a Fuck AND Die fic could be.

Summary
When the dementors attack Privet Drive Harry isn't able to cast the Patronus spell in time. When one of them latches on for a kiss it doesn't take his soul, it takes the parasite attached to it.
Now that his magic isn't constantly fighting against a powerful threat it's running wild causing random incidents of accidental magic. Harry needs to release the power before it gets to be too much.
If only there was a way to release a lot of energy all at once...Chapter 21 now fixed. Had skipped it on accident.
This is a work of fan fiction. There is no connection to this and the source material.
I will be trying to keep the characters as close to source as I can. At least until it gets annoying.

He was a serious, tall man with dark hair and an ever present pair of glasses, and he worked for the ministry in some manner of law enforcement. For all that, he was the most boring individual Penelope had ever met, excepting, perhaps, his taciturn wife.”
Penelope Dursley is a perfectly normal modern woman, thank you very much, who fills her days with yoga, blogging, and home ed for her perfect daughter Amelia. Her life changes quite radically when a letter arrives at her house by owl. She’s a bit put out to find that her husband has been keeping magic secret from her, but once that is cleared up there are far more important subjects to consider.
Is a secret boarding school really what is best for dear Amelia, and if it is, how does Penny deal with being an empty nester 8 years early?
