Summary
A bender's power comes from their connection to an elemental spirit. Unfortunately, an ancient offense led to some possessing more power than a mortal body can bear. Zuko and Katara both suffer under the Weaver's Curse, an ailment which will doom them both to an early grave, and the solution had been long hidden by the Fire Nation. After all, how could they accept that a firebender's soulmate could be from a lesser element?

Twenty one year old self-taught Katara has finally had enough of saving everyone's butts, teaching a flighty moon-eyed Avatar, and suffering the unrelenting cold of her curse, all while being the group's maid. When her frustrations finally bubble over, she separates from the group, intending to return after clearing her head. However, it seems that fate had a different path in mind.
Set during season one.
Contains a scene in which an unconscious character is cleaned/touched for medical reasons. While attraction on the part of the care giver is present, nothing sexual occurs. Author's note for that chapter will include a warning.

Summary

When the awaited birthday finally arrives, the secrets Gran Gran reveals lead Katara to give up on seeking a Northern master. However, she was unaware that she has already achieved greater mastery than anyone in the Northern Tribe—akin to that of the first legendary waterbenders who learned from Tui and La themselves.

Summary
Harry’s died before. He died and came back in a toxic cycle of resurrection that would drive a lesser man mad. For him it’s a part of his consequences and the price he had to pay to kill Voldemort. So when he died after finally graduating from the Auror Academy he didn’t think it would be a big deal, then he woke up and the house smelled different. A long dead man was seated in the chair watching him, and the face he saw in the mirror was the one he wore at 15.
Maybe he’s finally officially lost it.
Either drooling on himself in Mungos, living his best nightmare in Hell, or actually given a second chance Harry wants to live in the moment and enjoy being with the people he’s loved most, and maybe this time he can save them.
