Summary
During the World Cup 2026, American goalie Ilya Rozanov suffers a devastating defeat to the German team at the Stade de France. He ends up walking around the stadium ruminating about the loss when he crashes into the most beautiful man he has ever seen. Ilya is then ordered to forget the entire incident, sealed with an NDA, and get on with his life.
Ilya was going to -- except he doesn't. Ilya finds himself curious and realises that he makes Shane curious too. That night, he receives a few notifications on Instagram. A certain prince of Japan has followed him and liked a photo from a few years ago -- a photo of his Calvin Klein ad.
What happens next is an impossible romance of court intrigue, political mystery, and the cosmic connection between Shane and Ilya, loosely inspired by RWRB and maybe Gatsby's attention seeking behavior through expenditure.
OR: Shane is a prince of Japan, he meets Ilya, falls in love, and uses every ounce of his princely privilege to try to meet Ilya again.

Summary
Shane Hollander acts as an envoy between the courts of Europe and the Empire of All Under Heaven. He hates his job but alas is condemned to it because of his mixed-blood. Today's visit involves an Imperial Princess and the Ruler of Russia, Grigori Rozanov, who is arrogant and abusive and clearly does not know his place. Grigori, unexpectedly and much to Shane's horror, ends up insulting the Princess who orders him to be punished.
OR: “I cannot kneel for too long, my knees hurt.” Grigori finally said. “Please let me stand.”
The Princess looked at him thoughtfully. “Shane?”

“Ilya, what are we gonna do?” Shane says.
Ilya finishes whatever he has been doing on his phone, and tosses it gently to the bed beside him. He crosses the room to Shane, stands in front of him, squeezes into his shoulders with his big hands, rubbing them like he means to warm them up.
“Looks like we will have a little vacation,” he says, with a big obnoxious grin.
Boston and Montreal are sent to Paris to play against each other in an exhibition series in January 2017. Ilya and Shane decide to stay in Paris for one more night. Just one more night, so they can talk. Maybe finally understand each other.
They aren't expecting a volcano to erupt in Iceland and close all the airspace in Europe, leaving them stranded there. Together.

Summary
Luca Haas can't believe this is his life. Not only has he achieved his childhood dream of being a professional hockey player, he's achieved his OTHER lifelong dream of playing on the same team as Ilya Rozanov. The Hollanov of it all is just icing on the cake. The only thing that could make his life better, according to his mother, is his one true love. Last year, Theo Torres dragged the New Jersey Angels kicking and screaming to playoffs and everyone's looking to see if he can do it again. He's wonders the same thing as he dodges calls from his overbearing family. After a rocky first meeting with Luca Haas after stupidly admitting he had slept with Mr. Number Two's twin sister, he and Luca begin something that's going to end sooner or later so he'll enjoy himself while it lasts.
After circumstances neither of them care to recall, the two of them have to pretend to be in love while they barely even like each other. No really. It's just sex. Why are you looking at them like that?
