Felix grinned, his cheek rubbing against Chan’s shoulder as he nodded his head. “And we can always scent you to mix your scent up— make you smell more like pack.”
Minho nodded in agreement. "Just because you’re human doesn’t mean you can’t be pack.”
And that was the crux of the problem, wasn’t it?
Chan wasn’t human.

Chan is a vampire but that's a secret he's willing to take to his grave. Too bad his new dormmates aren't so easily fooled and will stop at nothing to make sure that Chan is taking care of himself. Even if they have to do it themselves.

Jeongin huffed and tried to buck Hyunjin off, though the vampire barely even budged. “Why do you call him hyung? You’re like decades older than him.”
He felt more than saw Hyunjin shrug. “He doesn’t know that though.”
“Yeah but he’s not here now,” he pointed out.
Hyunjin giggled. “Does it annoy you?” he teased. “That our little resident human is still older than you?”
“Only by one year,” he grumbled. “And no, it doesn't.”

Chan’s known about vampires since he was a teenager but his new vampire roommates clearly don’t want him to know what they are. So he’ll keep his knowledge to himself. Even if it kills him.

Summary
Chan's been in love with them since the beginning of time; there was never a version of him that didn’t revolve around them. So what if they only love each other and not him? So what if they are dating everyone else but him? So what if even after they started dating him, he feels like he’s watching the people he loves love each other, and he’s been allowed closer but not quite inside?
It's just all part of the sacrifice he has to do for them, right?

And he gets it. They also have six other boyfriends, and they were still learning to divide their time properly, but why was he the only one asking them out? Why had Chan never gone on a date with his boyfriends unless it was him asking them out?
It was a slow realization, and it made him spiral more and more and more.
Was he really just their leader? Just their protector? Just the wall between them and the management?
Was he just their pity case and not their boyfriend?
