Summary
Naruto has always been especially bad at letting his anxieties and insecurities fester, but when Sasuke ends up gone on a mission for over a month, leaving Naruto to deal with a sudden illness and preheat on his own, he lets them get the better of him.
tl;dr: Naruto has a generational mental breakdown after being left alone in a very vulnerable state thanks to Sasuke's month long assignment. Sakura and crew try their best, but at the end of the day it's up to Naruto's alpha to pick up the pieces and put him back together again.

1. Do not knot them in public - being knotted for the first time is an overwhelming experience for an omega so it is important to keep them relaxed and their attention focused on you. Additionally, after meeting their mate an omega’s animal instincts became stronger which can lead them to attack others that they view as threats. After the omega is bonded their instincts will revert back to normal.
2. Bring the omega to their nest - it is important to keep them as calm as possible to prevent tearing. While omega’s bodies are designed to take knots, a distressed omega can cause permanent damage to themselves and their mate.
3. Bond your omega as SOON as possible - As mentioned before, once an omega meets their mate for the first time their animal instincts become stronger. Xie Lian expects anything except the low chuckle Hua Cheng lets out. He sees the way his shoulders relaxes completely, leaning back slightly against the wooden frame with indifference.

Xie Lian stands perfectly still on his side of the divider. Despite hearing the careless dismissal in Hua Cheng’s voice, his own heart refuses to slow down.
“So is it not true that you are breaking curfew for… someone else? Besides for… coming here, of course.”
