A millennia after the planet was ruined by humanity, Nature Events started to happen, and the humans that ran off to the sky or the ocean came to study them. Study why the humans that survived on soil could commune to another dimension, to humans that never faced climate events and destruction.
Ventus was born different, he could hold his Connection for more minutes than most. He could Connect with more than one person, and most importantly, he could hear Nature itself speaking to him.
And he was being hunted for it.

Summary
Lovino Vargas heard many rumours in his village, he just chose to ignore them. He had long since outgrown his childish skin, casting aside fantasies that would never come true and replacing them with facts that he could prove. But the rumours didn't stop. Villagers kept speaking of those tall tales, of a mysterious, shadowy something lurking in the forest that bordered their little hamlet.
It wasn't until Lovino saw it for himself that the rumours stopped being just... rumours, and started being something he never asked for.

“The red one?” Edgeworth meant to confirm as he grabbed the notebook closest to him.
“No, that’s my-” Phoenix froze, eyes widening in realization. “Wait, shit, don’t-” He turned around, but it was too late. Miles had opened the notebook, cocking an eyebrow as he stared down at the pages. “My sketchbook.” Phoenix muttered with a wince.
