Summary
Eddie raises an eyebrow. It's his worst impulse, the one that always gets him into trouble, but he can't stop. Not when it feels like this. “You have something you want to try?”
Tommy laughs. It's incredulous. He shakes his head. Eddie wants to demand answers from him, but he can't. He already knows the type of response he would get.
It doesn't matter what Eddie wants, because Tommy tells him anyway. “If I'd known you were this easy, I wouldn't have bothered with Vegas.”
Eddie runs into Tommy at a bar. Somehow he finds himself in a back alley with his fly open.

Summary
Buck smiles at him, a wobbly, terrified thing. “Your number,” he clarifies, eyes flicking between Eddie’s. “I lost it. I didn’t— I didn’t mean to ghost you. After the games.”
“Don’t move,” Eddie tells him, voice low. “Just… just stay still, Buck.”
“I know you think I’m young, and—and stupid,” Buck says, voice wavering. “But I wouldn’t… I wouldn’t do that to you. I really liked you, Eddie. That night was— it was good. The best.”
“Buck,” Eddie rasps, fingers trembling. “You’re…”
“I’m on a pressure plate.” Buck glances at the grenade on the wall, eyes darting away just as quickly as they landed. He smiles wryly, looking braver than most people Eddie’s ever known. “I know.”
Or: Eddie moves to Los Angeles a year after sleeping with Buck at the Firefighter Games. It’s totally unrelated to Buck. The fact he joins the 118 is also unrelated to Buck, he swears.
