Summary
It's December when Dean gets the bad news, January when Dean's life gets turned upside down, February 13th when it all falls apart.
Or, the one where Dean writes for a pretentious music magazine, Castiel works for the publishing company that takes it over, and they fight, fall in love, break each others hearts, make up, and make love, in that order.

Summary
"I’m an Angel of the Lord, Dean. We’re designed with two purposes, Love, and Wrath. I would think the fact that you inspire me to the former rather than the latter would be proof enough to you that you are good, you are righteous, but that doesn’t seem to be enough."

Teen Angel ‘verse 30 Day OTP Challenge: Shopping
As far as Dean is concerned, there’s literally nothing in this universe worse than a shopping mall in the weeks before Christmas, which is saying a lot if you consider that the guy has been to both Hell and Purgatory, witnessed the goddamn Devil wearing his baby brother’s face, and watched the love of his life die twice. So Dean really, really isn’t speaking lightly when he emphasizes just how much he fucking despises the mall in mid-December.

Summary
Cas is in the massive kitchen, the iPad Sam gave him propped up on a stand as he watches an instructional video on how to bake the perfect cherry pie on Youtube. He prepares the filling using frozen cherries, and sets it aside, pleased with how easy it is to prepare Dean’s favorite dessert. He turns on the ancient oven to preheat.
Then he goes to make the crust, and takes back everything he had just thought about the ease of the task at hand. Cutting Crisco into flour is messy. Cracking an egg without crushing the shell is near impossible. Then there’s all the mixing, and mixing, and everything seems determined to stay separated into little clumps until finally, magically it all combines. Then chilling, and waiting, and rolling, and flipping, and rolling, and damn Dean Winchester and his stupid fucking pie!

Summary
Now that they were fully in the bunker, door closed behind them, Dean finally really looked at Cas. Cas watched as Dean looked him up and down, and saw sadness spark in Dean’s eyes, just for a moment. It was enough to twist up Castiel’s insides, and without even meaning to he starting apologizing, “I’m sorry, Dean, for everything, for all the times I didn’t trust you, for all the mistakes I’ve made, for believing Metatron, and I’m sorry about the coat, so so sorry about the coat, I know how much it meant to you, and how you kept it for me, and I didn’t want to leave it, but I was so hungry, and so thirsty, and I’m just so sorry...” and then Cas was crying, really truly crying for the first time, and it was awful, and he couldn’t speak, could only make weak sobbing hiccups of gasping sound, and his nose became clogged, and he hated it.
Then strong arms were wrapped around him, squeezing him so tight it almost hurt, and Dean’s voice was gruff in his ear, “It’s ok, buddy. It’s alright. I forgive you, shhh, shhh, it’s ok, everything is alright, it’s just a coat-”
And Cas mumbled into Dean’s neck, between wet sobs, “Not just a coat.”

Summary
Sam and Jess are trying to have a baby, and decide they want to eat healthier. Which is how Dean finds himself eating buffalo tofu at a vegan restaurant run by the sexiest hippie he's ever seen. The food is delicious, which is just the first surprise among many.
Inside the room was dim and small. There was a glass front counter to the left of the entrance, the display full of pastries that honestly didn’t look half bad. He spotted an apple pie (technically a blend of four organic heirloom apples, lightly sweetened with raw muscovado sugar, baked in a stone milled whole wheat crust lightly spiced with fresh ground ginger and cinnamon) and his stomach let out an involuntary growl.
“That’s just what a chef loves to hear.” came a gravelly voice from very close over Dean’s shoulder.
Dean spun around, and quickly stepped back when he found himself face to face with a disheveled brunette man in a faded green linen shirt, a wide grin on his face, bright ocean blue eyes, and giving off a faint aroma of pot and nag champa.

Teen Angel ‘verse 30 Day OTP Challenge: Cosplaying
Later as they lay in bed, shredded synthetic fabrics strewn all over the bedroom, both men sweaty and only wearing matching post-coital glows, Dean has a thought.
“Angel, if I hadn’t gone as Batman, had maybe gone as Han Solo instead, cause I did think about it, what would you have worn then?”
Cas takes a minute to think, absentmindedly running his fingers up and down Dean’s back as they lay facing each other like parenthesis. He comes up with his answer, and looks Dean straight in the eye, like always.
“I think I probably would have gone as Princess Leia.”
“Oh yeah?” Dean asks with a wicked grin, “Which costume?”
“The gold slave bikini.” Cas answers in a monotone, though he buries his face in Dean’s chest to try and hide his grin.
Dean grabs him, flips him on his back, and climbs on top, ready for round two. There’s a devious glint in his green eyes, “Oh, we are so doing this again next year!” He exclaims before stealing Cas' mouth for a sloppy kiss.

Teen Angel ‘verse 30 Day OTP Challenge: Wearing Each Others’ Clothes
Dean took a break from sucking a hickey into the skin under Cas’ ear and said “Hey babe?”
“Hmmm?” Cas asked, distracted by the feeling of Dean pressed against him.
“We’re definitely coming back here.”
“Mmmhmm,” Cas agreed, “And you’re definitely wearing those pants again.”

Teen Angel ‘verse 30 Day OTP Challenge: Kissing
Castiel’s kisses are as unique as him, and as varied as the songs he listens to. Sometimes he kisses, needy and pleading, like a Smiths song, other times he’s slow and sensual like Siouxsie and the Banshees. His kisses are playful, laughing and nipping, joyous like the Ramones, and sometimes they’re wet and deep and filthy like Danzig’s lowest drawn out “whoa oh” on a Misfits album. Sometimes he kisses every inch of Dean’s body, lips and tongue and teeth, and fingers chasing after, and it’s dirtier than T. Rex and twice as hot. But Dean’s favorite kisses aren’t like music at all, they’re the kisses Cas gives him right as they struggle into wakefulness, and Cas does this thing like a purr of contentment, it rumbles deep from his chest right into Dean’s mouth, and it’s the exact same feeling as the one Dean got the first time John let him drive the Impala.

With Cassie they would just fight, and then have awesome make-up sex, and then eventually they fought, and there wasn’t any make-up sex, and it was done. Teen Angel ‘verse 30 Day OTP Challenge: Gaming/watching a movie
Because Dean is so inattentive, it comes as a total surprise to him when he ends up on Mediterranean Avenue, and Sam goes, “Ha! You owe me $250 dollars, jerk.” because of course there’s a hotel there. Dean goes for his money, only to discover he only has $37.
“Looks like I’m out.” He says.
“Wait.” Cas blurts.
Sam and Dean look at him. “I can give you the money, Dean, here.” and Cas starts digging in his huge wad of pastel paper.
“That’s not how it works, babe.”
“Oh.” Cas turns to Sam, “could I possibly trade you one of my railroads in exchange for Dean’s rent?”
“It doesn’t really work like that either.” Sam smirks.
“So there’s nothing I can do?”
“Nope, Dean lost.” Sam explains.
Cas sets his money carefully in the middle of the board, along with his tiny pewter top hat. “In that case, I’d like to ‘lose’ too. Here you go Sam, you win!”

Teen Angel ‘verse 30 Day OTP Challenge: Cuddling Somewhere
After the shower, where Dean spent most of his time trying to fend off the advances of a wet and handsy Cas, eventually blurting out an irritated “Dammit, Cas, you’re hurt. Cut it out so we can get you fixed up!” Dean dresses in a white t-shirt and blue plaid pajama bottoms, then has Cas sit on the bed. He cleans the cuts, that aren’t nearly as bad as he thought, more like scrapes than actual wounds, applies some Neosporin, and tapes pads of gauze over them. Then he gives Cas’ hair one last rub with the rough motel towel, and helps him into a pair of underwear. Cas digs through his backpack for pajamas, and ends up in a hideous eyesore of a combination, green and brown plaid pajama bottoms he stole from Dean, and a bright red Ramones shirt. Dean does his best to not look at the outfit head on.
