Summary
Namjoon tries to appear harmless, palms held up and open so that the omega before him can see that he is weaponless. He tries to keep his scent calm and barely there, sure that him signaling his own alpha-ness will only make the situation worse. Because no matter how much of an alpha he is, and no matter how long he has already survived this current zombie-infested world they are living in now, Namjoon doesn’t even entertain the idea of being able to survive having his throat cut open, or pierced through, by a knife’s blade.
The omega holding the blade steadily by his neck seems to think the same, as he bares his teeth and hisses.
(or: it's weird to see an omega all on their own in the middle of a zombie apocalypse and Namjoon wants to help)

Taehyung was afraid that an abandoned hybrid like Jungkook would be wary or anxious or—standoffish, at the very least.

Summary
The sweetness of this omega will really be Namjoon's undoing, especially once his heat hits. Namjoon is used to fiery, independent omegas, challenging him at every turn, eventually finding peace with their wolves largely through nonsexual submission.
He isn't used to feral omegas that prefer his lap over anywhere else after one day, sleepily nuzzling closer to them in their bed after a day and a half.
Namjoon isn't used to his protective instincts rapidly becoming feelings of attachment.
Alphas Namjin take in feral omega Jungkook, caring for him and teaching him how to submit and feel safe before his heat starts... but for all three of them, their feelings grow into a lot more than that.

Summary
Sometimes, life felt like walking along a slightly uneven path - no highs, no lows, just a steady, mindless progression.
