Buggy is a coward. He fights dirty and has no shame in doing so. He'd rather fight from a distance than get up close and personal. He's unstable, a mess, and more than a little insane. He would make a terrible marine.
And yet...Buggy the Clown, an (former) apprentice of the Roger pirates and holder of the Chop-Chop fruit, becomes a marine.

Summary
There lay a head and a body in an alley in Loguetown.
On the third day. The corpse twitched.
All at once. The crunch of bones first, crackling and popping like the escaping of air in joints. Crawling out from the fatal wound, pure white as if bleached by the sun. The periosteum came next, fibrous and fatty to protect the new formations. Nerves and sinew pulsed and crawled along like a fungus. Fat and musculature inched along in layers. Organs, colorful and bare. Skin grew like bacteria in a petri dish, cultured along different spots and spreading outwards. Hair forced itself outward.
On the third day, there were two bodies in the alley.

Summary
The paper is old and fragile in his hands. It feels like if he bends it, it will snap and crumble into dust. The parchment- stained yellow and brown with age- smells of mold and dirt. The writing is smearing in some places, the lettering barely legible, but the fifteen-year-old recognizes the writing and can make sense of it.

Summary
Dr. Strange looks at the world after Thanos and, faced with its seemingly irreparable brokenness, breaks his own oath. Tony, Stephen, and Loki go back in time for one more chance - an intentional choice, because they are each other's insurance against repeating the same mistakes. Tony wakes up shortly before the Stark Expo with the reactor's palladium core still poisoning him. Stephen wakes up with undamaged hands and a flourishing medical career. Loki wakes up in Asgard one day before Thor's coronation.

[ Yet another take on that time travel fic with lots of worldbuilding, hand-wavey comic book science, political intrigue, inventing, nerding out, and a broken Tony trying to fix a broken world - but this time he's not alone. Intermittent updates (not abandoned) with very long chapters 20-30k. ]

Summary
After the Sunny is attacked by Marines during a storm, Zoro and Sanji end up lost at sea.
When they eventually wash up on an unfamiliar island, they're left with no ship, no crew, and no way of knowing how long it'll take for anyone to find them.
They try to make do with what they have while they wait.
Unfortunately, the island isn't as empty as they first thought.
Or: Zoro and Sanji get stranded on an island and things go downhill very quickly.

Summary
A jumbled message from Captain Marvel leads Superman and Batman to the scene of a brutal crime in progress. When the dust settles, they're left with a magic obsessed madman on his way to prison, a grievously injured homeless child, and no sign of Captain Marvel.
While Superman and Batman try to track down the missing hero, Bruce Wayne welcomes yet another black haired blue eyed orphan into the ranks, and struggles to navigate the waters of handling a child who is *not* a vigilante. And thank god for that, too. Bruce has had just about enough of children being made into soldiers.
Billy Batson is trying very, *very* hard not to freak out. His success is debatable.

“Discussing possible reasons why Tau Ceti is not infected while other stars are,” Eva replied deftly. “I would invite you to join, but we were just finishing—”
“Oh, that’s easy.” His hand twisted a knob, and the notes came out sharper. “It is infected—Petrova Line and everything.”
In Grace's opinion, dreaming about time traveling is no excuse for getting out of practice with his Eridian. To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Eva Stratt resolves to figure out what is going on.
