Summary
Daena Targaryen, daughter of the Mad King, a timid girl who through unforeseen circumstances, hatches a single dragon. Leaving Kingslanding for the safety of her dragon with only two knights beside her.
-This is a canon divergence from Fading Embers where during 277 Daena hatches a dragon and flees to Dragonstone before Aerys is rescued from Duskendale. This Daena will change slightly from the one in Fading Embers, with a dragon beside her Daena won't be nearly as frightened by the world's events. I'm not sure what other canon divergences there will be, but I am enjoying writing this.
-This story is partially inspired by a two-shot story I read years ago by AbsinthexMind called One True Dragon.

Summary
Zara Vasile, born in a small village in Alba, Romania in 1968, develops her mutant abilities during church. Scaring her family and resulting in being abandoned in the snow-covered woods only for Vlad Tepes Dracula to decide to adopt her as his and his two wives child instead of eating her. Growing up in a regal household and slowly becoming a representative of mutants in Romania during the harrowing 1990s when mutant discrimination was boiling into something bigger. Reuniting with two former childhood friends again in her adulthood who may vie for her affections.
I am basing Dracula both off the Marvel and Castlevania versions of him, mainly Castlevania for his appearance because who wouldn't want to be cradled by him, dude definitely cuddles and comforts. I've really been wanting a Pietro Maximoff fic for a long time, particularly one based off his Wolverine and the X-Men or the comic versions of him rather than the live action ones. Nothing wrong with them but they're not my cup of tea. I do not know Romanian or German so I will not be using any of those words to avoid misusing them. Anyway, please do enjoy this and if I make any spelling mistakes, do please let me know.

Summary
It's been a while since I have written anything, and I've realized how bad my writing prior has been. I've deleted most of my works because I personally didn't like them. I have left Quirk: Genie up, but don't believe I will continue writing it at this current moment. It doesn't help that I've lost one of the docs that had the last 30 chapters and have fallen out of the series in general. So then let's move onto this.
This work, Fading Embers is going to be set pre–Bobby B's Rebelion. the story will focus on Daena Targaryen second of her name, daughter of Aerys and Rhaella. I will clarify now; no, she does not get a dragon, nor does she even attempt hatching one. The tragedy of summerhall is still fairly fresh. I hope to use this story to explore the relationships of the characters that we don't have much information on. There will be a relationship for Daena in future chapters, I intend to build it up instead of them just instantly being in love with her. I'm not sure how consistent I will be in updating nor can I promise perfection in these chapters. I will try my best and would love feedback to help me improve my writing.Series

And fear that comes from having seen those bird-winged ones lift ironclad soldiers into the air and throw them around effortlessly, you think, but you don't say this because she's looking at you with the widest eyes you've ever seen on a person and besides, it sounds like an almost impossibly sweet deal. You'd be an idiot to turn this down.
