Summary
“Seonghwa,” Hongjoong finally says, and the older man immediately sits straighter, his shoulders squared and breath held so tightly, like he’s afraid of making a noise.
“Y-yes?”
Hongjoong speaks more apologetically than he intended to, “I can’t do it.”
Seonghwa’s breath is released with the drop of his shoulders, his eyebrows furrowed in sudden discontent as though the letdown is the worst thing he’s ever heard in his entire life. “Why?” The word catches onto some desperation, and Hongjoong has to swallow the lump in his throat to give him an honest answer.
"I’m not rejecting you. I just can’t take you until you’re ready. But you’ll do your research, won’t you? If you really want to help me, then this is how you can help,” Hongjoong finalizes, and then he leaves Seonghwa to his own thoughts as he steps out his seat and disappears out the door.

Summary
Lord Seonghwa is sent to the capital to investigate whispers of unrest. He expects silence. He expects hardship. He does not expect to lose his mother’s ring to a masked thief in the forest. Or to be haunted by the memory of the man who took it.
As winter settles over the city, Seonghwa finds himself drawn into a world of hidden paths, stolen names, and quiet acts of defiance. And somewhere beyond the edge of the law, a ghost in a black hood is waiting for him.
To love a thief is treason.
To become one is rebellion.—

Summary
The wine pours slowly. Dark like the blood he swore he'd never spill again. Seonghwa watches it fill the glass up to the rim, but doesn’t stop. Doesn’t even blink. The red stains his fingers. Good. Maybe he’ll remember what it feels like to make things bleed.
He lifts the glass. He doesn't drink from it. He sighs, throwing the glass to the wall.
“Well fuck.”
Park Seonghwa is an ex-mafia prince turned art dealer who faked his own death to escape the bloodstained world he lived in. He fell in love, has a family, even has a cat.
He's been legally dead for eight years now.
Everything was quiet. It was safe. That was until someone close to him betrayed him.
Now they know the prince is still alive and targeted the one person that means the world to him.
And now, drunk on rage, Seonghwa has to go back to his mafia roots in order to take revenge.
But what if this is all just a mere chess piece playing on a bigger board?

Summary
“We are NOT keeping a stray bunny in the house and that’s final.”
A phrase Hongjoong’s tenants vaguely remember as they take in the sight in front of them. Bunny hybrid Seonghwa’s head was nestled deep inside the crook of Hongjoong’s neck as they peacefully slept. The same person who despised the idea of having a pet and the bunny that had almost taken an eye out of his rescuer's had seemingly formed a bond of pure evil.
OR a fic where Jongho and Yeosang find a bunny with its leg trapped in a wired fence and gather help from the rest of their housemates to rescue it. Eventually, they’re forced to bring the creature home while tiptoeing around their landlord, Hongjoong, who strictly rejects the idea of pets. (or does he?)
