Summary
What if Bruce Wayne never became Batman? And what happens when fate forces him to 20 years too late?
In this AU fanfic, we'll be exploring a version of Batman that has lived as Bruce Wayne for a majority of his life, and thus approaches both his problems and his relationships differently.
Whilst this fic is centered around Bruce Wayne, focus will be split among the family he has built for himself: Andrea, his wife, who while supportive of her husband, still worries about what he does. Cassandra Cain, the daughter of an old friend who Bruce has taken in after she was abandoned. And Dick Grayson, the newest member of the family, brought in after the deaths of his biological parents.
