Summary
Stiles is dating Lydia and studying Forensic Science at George Washington hoping to join the FBI after graduation. Lydia is studying Physics at MIT. Stiles wants a small house with a picket fence and ma's apple pie on the table (metaphorically speaking). Lydia wants to go out and rule the world (also metaphorically speaking...or maybe not, it's Lydia). Stiles wants to continue the Good Fight. Lydia wants to leave it all behind. Between them, something’s gotta give. Derek's reappearance makes everything more, or possibly less, complicated.
This is set at the end of 6a. 6b has happened but anything big that's taken place in the show hasn't happened here (apart from Scott/Malia if you squint). There'll be inconsistencies. I'm watching TW on Channel 5 in the UK. They've only reached S3 and I don't do Netflix, streams etc. My knowledge of TW post-S2 is, therefore, from fanfic, blogs and reviews (and I'm a Sterek fan) plus I am a Brit so there'll be mistakes. So, when you come across errors, omissions etc; please mentally tweak the story for yourself and forgive me. I'm sorry.
This is my first forray into fanfic, so try and be gentle!

Derek isn’t ignorant to his own fluid sexuality. He used to fuck men, back in the day, when he was twenty and single and easy. But then he was with Jennifer, and since the divorce it’s just seemed…less complicated. To date women. But he likes men—aesthetically. Sexually.
He likes Stiles more than he should. And it’s weird not because he’s a man but because Derek has literally never had this problem before. He’s never been attracted to one of his assistants, ever. Then again, none of his assistants have been anything like Stiles.

Summary

Seriously he cannot catch a break.

Summary
Stiles gets a call from Eli that Derek has died. He runs home in time to be at the funeral where Eli barrels into him crying shaking like he is five years old again after a nightmare. Stiles holds him tight looking up at the pack he walked away from years ago. The ones that hurt him and his family too many times to count. His eyes landed on Scott, who looked sad and sorry. Stiles didn’t care for his pity. Rage boiled in him at just seeing his ex-best friend. The man that almost ruined everything for them 15 years ago but it looks like he already did. Stiles pulled Eli away, handing him off to his dad. Stiles walked over landing a hard punch to Scott’s temple.
“What did you do?” Stiles shouted.
Stiles knew he had to bring back the love of his life and the father of his son, with the help of Lydia and the rest of the gang. Stiles must fight one last demon of his own to bring Derek back. By doing so, secrets of the past fifteen years will be told. His young son, Eli, will know more about himself and his parents than either Stiles or Derek was ready to share.
