Lumine doesn’t want to be a Harbinger.
She wants the participation mora, an excuse to avoid her farm chores, and to leave the 10th Harbinger Trials unscathed. But after passing trials she was never supposed to survive, she draws the attention of the Eleventh Harbinger—and escaping that attention requires something drastic.
So, she fakes her death.

It’s a perfect plan—until Childe starts falling for her disguise.
