    Frank is scared.

Unfortunately, Frank Castle has never been particularly good at being scared, so when Peter comes home bruised after twenty-seven minutes of radio silence, Frank reaches for the cruelest way he knows to make sure it never happens again.

    Peter doesn't get angry.

He is embarrassed and completely pulls back, trying not to bother Frank anymore.

“I can fix it. I- I will fix this, I promise”
“You’re a Black. You can’t fix something that’s ingrained in your blood, Sirius.”
Sirius was hurt, but he still wanted to fix things for Remus. He understood why he couldn’t be a part of the resolution himself, but he could still help. He would make Remus forget he ever existed, that way Remus would be happy again.
It was easy, Sirius made his plan in the span of an hour. He just needed to avoid being in the places Remus enjoyed, sit at the back to avoid making him uncomfortable in classes, avoid mealtimes, and get him to make new friends. Maybe even a new boyfriend. With that in mind, Operation Happy Moony began.

“I can’t—” Shane tries to speak through the hysteria, but he gets caught trying to suck in a sharp breath. “I ca—”

Hayden brings the phone back to his own ear.

“He can’t hear you, man, he’s freaking out.”

There’s shuffling on Rozanov’s end, then, very distinctly, he says, “Put me on speakerphone.”

Or: Shane finds out about the plane malfunction just a tad too late. Featuring: breakdowns in the locker room, Ilya's love put on blast, and Comeau being the canonical dick we all know him to be.
