Summary
After the Ashford Tourney, Baelor returns critically wounded but alive, slipping into a coma. Valarr, betrothed to Aerion since childhood and set to marry him within the year, cannot help blaming Aerion for his father’s condition. Every time he watches his mother weep over Baelor’s unconscious body, the resentment deepens and festers.
